Viagem Indiferente is a play inspired by José Saramago's work "the tale of the unknown island" and is a metaphor used to represent the search of the human being for that which is new, in the face of obstacles and marked by uncertainty and impermanence of things themselves.

Based on this symbology, Companhia Indiferente has defined a collective creation, "which has as its centre the importance of the body, gesture, sound, movement and visual arts, crossing theatre with dance, music, visual arts and interactive media, in a practice of disciplinary crossing, valuing and exploring its aesthetics".

The Indifferent Company is an inclusive artistic structure - from Glocalmusic - integrated by disabled and non-disabled artists, who intend to develop a research work and intervene actively in the national cultural and artistic fabric.

This project is supported by DGARTES through the Partnership Support Programme - Art Without Limits, which resulted from a Partnership Agreement with Associação Acesso Cultura with the aim of fostering diversity in the national artistic scene and encouraging the emergence of projects led by disabled and/or S/deaf artists.
